If you deliver some else’s goods in exchange for money, you are a courier and need specialist insurance. Normal car insurance will not cover you so you need to get specific Courier Insurance. This is because of the additional risks that are involved. At Babal Karama Project Management Services we specialise in finding the right deal for you and your business.

We understand that every business is different, and that every case needs to be assessed individually. Therefore, we take the time to get to know you and your business. We believe that the right policy is one that is built from the start for an individual.

Your policy will be based on several factors: the distance you drive, what kind of vehicle you have and how many drops you usually make. We cover you in case your vehicle is stolen, damaged or in an accident. Remember though, that insurance is not just to keep you on the road – it is a legal requirement.

Contact Babal Karama Project Management Services today for a quote. We will work with you to make sure you get a premium price that fits.

Courier Insurance FAQs

What kind of vehicles do you cover?

We can cover all kinds of vehicles used by couriers. The largest size we cover that comes under courier insurance is 3.5 tonnes. Any larger vehicles will need HGV insurance.

Why do I need Courier Insurance - not Business Insurance?

We understand that being a courier is your business. However, business insurance will not cover the vehicles your business uses. Business insurance is for the running of you business, and cover you for things such as liability and loss of license. Courier insurance is specifically for the vehicles that your business uses. It is essential to have a specific courier policy as standard insurance more often than not excludes courier use. This is because of the addtional risks they face with always being on the road and the tasks that they carry out.

Can I still drive my van at the weekend?

Our courier insurance will still cover your van for social, domestic and pleasure usage. This means that you’ll still be covered to drive the vehicle outside of work.
